Mova V50

Owners keep the V50 for mopping that cuts down on manual cleaning and pet mess, even while accepting they may need to fight with support or a shaky app to keep it running that way.

No owner ratings here yet. What is on this page is our summary of 168 public owner accounts from forum threads and video comments, written by us. None of it was posted to Still Kicks by an owner. The number arrives when owners rate it here, and comes only from them.

Praised most for mopping quality (18 of the 24 who raised it); the most common concern is navigation (17 of 23).

What keeps coming up

Mopping quality is the most consistently praised thing about the V50, with owners citing strong hard-floor cleaning, pet-odor handling, and features like fur compression and omnidry that worked well in daily use (18 of 24 accounts positive).

What keeps coming up against it

Customer support is the most-raised complaint, with more than half of the 33 accounts describing unhelpful troubleshooting, generic advice to just disable problem features, and no real explanation when navigation or mapping issues showed up.

Counted from the owners who raised each subject, not from everyone. Nobody wrote this list; these are the subjects owners kept bringing up on their own.

8 more subjects came up from fewer than 4 owners each, which is not enough for a fair reading. To see how it stacks up, compare it with another machine.

Life with it

Week to week, the mopping is what keeps people happy. Owners with dogs and kids say it has changed daily life with tracked-in mess, and several say they'd buy it again for that reason alone. Obstacle avoidance is a mixed bag but leans positive: multiple owners note it handles oddly-shaped furniture legs and carpet transitions better than competing models, thanks to its front sensor.

What people had to adjust to is consistency slipping over time. A few owners describe an otherwise trouble-free unit that, after months of smooth operation, suddenly starts losing its position mid-room following a software update, turning an experience with nothing to complain about into a frustrating one almost overnight. Hair tangling and carpet performance show up as recurring, unresolved annoyances rather than dealbreakers for most.

Reliability & repairs

Suction and mopping mechanics hold up well by most accounts. Several owners report eight-plus months of solid performance with nothing to complain about on build or cleaning before anything went wrong. When problems appear, they tend to be software-side: mapping drift, losing position mid-clean, or navigation reliability, which owners raised negatively in nearly every account that mentioned it (6 of 6 for navigation reliability, 9 of 10 for navigation overall).

Hardware defects also show up: reports of scraping wheels, dust bags not sealing to the dock, and missing dirt-detection on units described as dead-on-arrival. Long-term durability accounts are thin and skew negative (0 of 7 positive), so it's not clear yet how the V50 ages past the first year. That is a gap in what owners have reported so far.

Does it still kick?

The same owner, the same machine, asked again at each of these. It needs real owners answering a real follow-up, so it stays empty until they do. We are not drawing a line through numbers we do not have.

Where this came from

Counted by type. These are public discussions we read and summarised in our own words; none was submitted to Still Kicks, and none carried proof of purchase that we know of. The individual accounts are kept on file behind every claim; they are not reproduced here.

* N/A means we do not yet have enough data for a fair score. A rating appears once owners have rated this machine here. A subject is only judged once at least 4 owners have raised it; below that we show the count and not a verdict. Praised or Concerns means at least 6 in 10 of everyone who raised the subject leaned that way; anything less is shown as split, with the counts. Mixed means an owner said both good and bad things about that one subject.

Every figure here is counted from public accounts written by people who said they own the product, and summarised by Still Kicks in its own words. None of it was submitted here as a review, and nothing is a manufacturer claim, a lab test or an estimate. The accounts behind each claim are kept on file, not reproduced.

Owner ratings are the point. As they come in they become the page, and this baseline moves in behind them.
