Owners keep the Bigme b7 as an everyday reader they decorate and tinker with: cases and stickers get personalised, sideloaded apps run once unfrozen, and most who wrote in are plainly happy with it.

What keeps coming up
Owners like the range of cases that fit it and treat the case as part of the fun: clear cases they decorate, thin detachable flip covers, and magnet rings added for a grip. Nearly every account that raised case design was positive.
Owners are divided on app usability. Some got third-party apps such as a video app running, even in the background, but others found battery management fiddly and were caught out by newly installed apps not appearing in the custom launcher until they were unfrozen.
The Bigme B7 is a 7-inch color e-ink tablet that runs Android and can make 4G phone calls. It is for people who want a small, easy-on-the-eyes screen for reading, notes and marking up documents, with access to regular Android apps.

What the specs mean
128 GB plus a microSD slot is far more room than books and notes will ever need, so you can also install many apps. The stylus comes in the box, so you can write and mark up documents without buying anything extra. The 1-year warranty is short compared with many other devices, so check that everything works soon after it arrives. Bigme's product page does not give the screen sharpness, light, battery size, water rating or weight.
Compare the b7 with…
Pick up to three. You get a page with just those,
side by side, on the subjects owners raised.
Once the first week passes, the device becomes a personal object more than a gadget. Owners swap cases, stick on patterns, cover the back in sparkles, add a magnet ring for a pop grip, and show the results off. Several describe it as their go-to reader, one saying it was their first e-reader and they have no complaints, another loading books onto a microSD card rather than bothering with cloud sync.
The adjustment is on the software side. Installing an app is not the end of the job: it has to be unfrozen before the custom launcher will show it, and getting battery settings to cooperate with background apps takes some poking around. Some owners run KOReader for contrast control on comics and add plugins; at least one removed it again to keep things simple.
Reliability & repairs
Nothing in these accounts describes a hardware failure. The recurring practical points are about setup rather than breakage: freezing and unfreezing apps, toggling reading options that only appear after an update, and choosing between a thin flip cover and a thicker patterned case. Battery comments are positive, including one owner who logged fourteen hours of reading in the first few days, but there are only three of them.
Long-term accounts are thin. Most of the people writing in had owned the device for days or weeks, and the tallies for battery life, KOReader, NickelMenu and screen readability are too small to judge. How the b7 holds up after a year is not something this page can say yet.

Nothing has a clear majority against it yet. Counted from the owners who raised each subject, not from everyone. A subject is judged once at least 4 owners raise it.
43 more subjects came up from fewer than 4 owners each, which is not enough for a fair reading. To see how it stacks up, compare it with another machine.

Own this one?
Two questions: how long you have had it, and anything you would
like to say about it. Then we ask again as it ages. This helps our
mission.
Still good used? What a used buyer should know, from owners a year or more in
Among the 0 owner accounts here that gave a duration, 0 described a failure.
Before you buy one used, ask the seller: how old it is, whether it was ever repaired and by whom, and whether any of the parts above have been replaced. Ask to see it run. A receipt tells you the warranty start date; most makers honour the term only for the first owner.
