Roborock Saros 10R

Owners keep it for hands-off mopping and daily hard-floor cleaning, trading away strong carpet performance for a dock that handles the mop pads on its own.

No owner ratings here yet. What is on this page is our summary of 143 public owner accounts from forum threads and video comments, written by us. None of it was posted to Still Kicks by an owner. The number arrives when owners rate it here, and comes only from them.

Praised most for mopping quality (20 of the 31 who raised it); the most common concern is carpet performance (13 of 15).

What keeps coming up

Owners repeatedly single out the mopping setup as the reason it earns daily use: the dock lifting the mop pads before vacuuming, the separate cleaning-solution container, and mapping that avoids getting stuck.

What keeps coming up against it

Carpet and rug performance is the most one-sided complaint: 13 of 15 accounts that raised it said it does a mediocre job on rugs and carpets, several naming older Roborock models as clearly better here.

Counted from the owners who raised each subject, not from everyone. Nobody wrote this list; these are the subjects owners kept bringing up on their own.

7 more subjects came up from fewer than 4 owners each, which is not enough for a fair reading. To see how it stacks up, compare it with another machine.

Life with it

Day to day, the parts owners keep mentioning are the ones that remove a chore: the dock handling mop pad swaps and cleaning solution on its own, and mapping solid enough that it doesn't need babysitting around cords or furniture. On hard floors, several owners run it daily without much thought.

What people had to adjust to is the carpet gap. Owners with rugs or low-pile carpet learn to expect a lighter pass there and, in a few cases, keep an older Roborock model in rotation for carpet duty. Long-haired pets are the other adjustment: hair tends to build up in tumbleweeds on hard floors before the unit clears it, and several owners say it doesn't pull embedded hair out of carpet pile the way a dedicated deep clean would.

Reliability & repairs

Reliability accounts lean negative: 10 of 16 owners who raised it described a real fault, most often the mop pads failing to install (turning it into a vacuum-only unit), a stuck wheel, a recurring error code, or a water pump issue. One owner's unit went back to support three times before being replaced, and the replacement then failed within two weeks. Customer support itself drew a similarly mixed record: 12 of 24 accounts on that theme were negative.

Against that, several owners describe long stretches of trouble-free daily use and call it their preferred unit among multiple robovacs they own, so the failures aren't universal. But with the negative accounts outnumbering the positive ones on both reliability and support, this is a product where a sizeable minority of owners end up dealing with a warranty claim rather than just routine upkeep.

The same owner, the same machine, asked again at each of these. It needs real owners answering a real follow-up, so it stays empty until they do. We are not drawing a line through numbers we do not have.

* N/A means we do not yet have enough data for a fair score. A rating appears once owners have rated this machine here. A subject is only judged once at least 4 owners have raised it; below that we show the count and not a verdict. Praised or Concerns means at least 6 in 10 of everyone who raised the subject leaned that way; anything less is shown as split, with the counts. Mixed means an owner said both good and bad things about that one subject.

Every figure here is counted from public accounts written by people who said they own the product, and summarised by Still Kicks in its own words. None of it was submitted here as a review, and nothing is a manufacturer claim, a lab test or an estimate. The accounts behind each claim are kept on file, not reproduced.

Owner ratings are the point. As they come in they become the page, and this baseline moves in behind them.
