Owners who talk about the Mavic 3 keep it for reach: a zoom that identifies people from about a kilometre away, at the cost of a drone that is loud in quiet parks.
The zoom is the feature owners bring up on its own merits. One says they can identify people from roughly a kilometre out in clear weather; another cites the 6x to 26x zoom as the reason to step up from the Mavic 2 and its 4x.

The zoom lets one owner pick out individuals at about a kilometre in clear conditions, and another treats the 6x to 26x range as the defining reason to own this model over the Mavic 2. One account also cites the Mavic 3 Classic's claimed 15 km signal range when arguing that a 3 km beacon on a rival drone is nothing to boast about.
The adjustment is where you fly. The same owner who praises the zoom notes that in a city you do not need much altitude because background noise covers the drone, while in a quiet park it is loud enough to be noticed. The camera comparison in the range discussion is aimed at another drone, not at the Mavic 3, so no owner here actually complains about the Mavic 3's image quality.
No owner in this set describes anything breaking, a crash, a battery problem, or a repair. The two accounts filed under safety concerns are jokes (one about carrying an Epi pen, one about storing the drone in a fire safe) and do not describe an actual incident with the aircraft.
