Owners who have tried newer models keep coming back to the MX Master 1, citing years of reliable left-click performance and a shape that still fits their hand after daily use.
Owners are divided on left click durability, but the clearest signal in the accounts here is that the MX Master 1 outlasted later versions. Several owners explicitly note they returned to this model after a newer one failed, with one describing a six-year-old unit that still functions despite a cracked shell.
