Xiaomi X10

Owners keep it for the mopping, which beats the older robots it replaced on hardwood and tile, at a price most call fair, accepting that a unit may need a warranty swap.

What keeps coming up

The rotating mop is the thing owners most often single out: several who came from an older robot say the nightly vacuum and mop pass leaves hardwood, tile and linoleum visibly cleaner than what they had before, and the adjustable water level lets them tune it to the floor.

What keeps coming up against it

Reliability is the clear complaint: owners describe units that stopped finding the dock after a few months, got stuck in a charge and clean loop, or went downhill after firmware updates, and more than one had a replacement sent out within the first half year.

Life with it

Once it is scheduled, most owners let it run overnight and stop thinking about it: a combined vacuum and mop on weekdays, a heavier separate pass at the weekend. What keeps pleasing people is the mop result on hard floors and the sense that they got a lot of machine for the money. Cable recognition impressed at least one owner who has never had it swallow a cord, though obstacle avoidance overall divides owners nearly evenly, with others saying it still struggles on carpet with small items.

Suction is where owners have had to adjust, and they are split on it. Some find it a touch better than a Roborock; others say standard power just pushes debris around and they end up running max, which in turn shortens the runtime. Battery life and the app both draw more complaints than praise. Hair tangling is divided too: a few say it is not bad on their units, more say it needs regular clearing. Owners who are happiest keep the dustbin, filter and roller cleaned diligently.

Reliability & repairs

The mopping and the day-to-day cleaning hold up for the owners who have had no trouble, and several would buy it again. When it does fail, the pattern is early and specific: losing the ability to return to the base at around four months, a charge and clean loop at five months, and in one torn-down unit, moisture, corroded screws and a rusting motor inside. Owners who hit this went to the maker and got a replacement, sometimes after pushing back on an offer of a refurbished unit. Support experiences are divided, with more negative than positive accounts.

Long-term accounts are thin. Many of the positive reports come from owners a few days or a couple of months in, and the failure reports cluster in the first half year. There is not enough here to say how a unit that survives its first year behaves after that.

What owners praise

Nothing with a clear majority yet. Owners who raised these subjects were split, or too few to judge.

Nothing has a clear majority against it yet. Counted from the owners who raised each subject, not from everyone. A subject is judged once at least 4 owners raise it.
