Owners keep this OLED for its perfect blacks, clean motion and sharp text, and most would buy again, accepting that HDR highlights do not hit as hard as on brighter panels.
Black levels are the thing owners come back to: several say the contrast in games is flawless and that a glossy WOLED panel keeps blacks deep even in a lit room, where other panel types turn grey. Nobody in the accounts complained about the blacks themselves.
HDR brightness is the clearest complaint: most owners who raised it say peak highlights fall short, and one describes the panel as weak when bright content fills most of the screen.

What stays satisfying is the image: the blacks, colour accuracy, and motion that owners describe as a level above strobed LCDs they used for competitive shooters. High refresh rate drew only positive accounts. Text clarity is praised more often than not, especially by people moving from an earlier OLED generation or from a mini LED panel with fringing, though a few who code on it still find text less crisp than an IPS display and one notes eye strain during long daytime sessions.
The adjustments are about brightness and VRR. Overall brightness is a divided topic: some say the panel is blinding at night in HDR, others want more punch in bright rooms. VRR flicker is also split. Some barely notice it outside loading screens, one owner says it helped push them toward a non-OLED next time, and the workaround people mention is a uniform brightness setting or locking the frame rate. Several owners also cap SDR brightness around a modest level to protect the panel.
Image retention and burn in are divided in the accounts, not settled either way. Most owners who raised retention say they have never seen it, even with long office use, and one says an earlier G2 in the household has given no trouble. Where retention did appear and did not clear after a week, the advice from other owners was to treat the unit as defective and return or exchange it. Pricing is likewise split: some call the blacks worth every penny, others feel the panel is overrated for the money.
Long-term accounts are thin. Only a handful of owners discuss burn in, retention or eye strain, and most speak from months of use rather than years, so there is not enough here to say how the panel holds up over the long haul.
