A 4K QD-OLED that owners keep for its sharp text, strong colours and HDR gaming, with a matte coating that some accept and some strip off.
Text on the 32 inch 4K panel is sharp enough that several owners say the usual OLED text complaints do not apply at this pixel density, and one calls it the best PC purchase they have made. A minority still find it falls short of IPS for text.
Owners are divided on VRR flicker: some see none at normal viewing distance or on HDMI, others notice it in games and had to cap frame rates and avoid the low frame rate compensation zone to tame it. One owner of the G80SH says its VRR Control setting removes it entirely.

Daily desktop work is done at modest SDR brightness, and some owners find that fine for coding and browsing while others returned the monitor because brightness and text fringing did not suit office use.
The matte coating is the thing people adjust to, and reactions depend on the model. On the G80SD several owners say it barely affects the image and cuts reflections; on the G81SF some find it heavy and distracting on the desktop. A group of owners has removed the coating with isopropyl alcohol and a razor, reporting a job of a few hours and a screen they consider transformed, while others refuse to touch it before the warranty runs out.
The panel itself draws no complaints in these accounts, and the few owners who mention burn-in say they have not had it. The recurring workarounds are settings rather than repairs: capping refresh rate, holding frame rates steady, switching to HDMI, or using the VRR Control option on newer models to deal with flicker.
Long-term accounts are thin. Only a handful of owners talk about burn-in or overall panel condition over time, and most of the coating removal reports are days or weeks old, so there is no record yet of how a stripped screen holds up or how it affects warranty claims. Treat durability as not yet established rather than proven.
