Owners keep the T8 for dependable daily vacuuming and light mopping that keeps hard floors looking fresh between deep cleans, and most who weigh it up say they are happy, app frustrations aside.

What keeps coming up
Owners who sum up their experience are overwhelmingly glad they bought it, and its basic cleaning gets clear praise: it picks up loose hair well, including from corners, and covers a large apartment in a single run with battery to spare.
The app is the clearest complaint. Setup is slow and fiddly, the interface is disliked enough that at least one owner returned a robot they otherwise thought was excellent, and cleaning sessions do not always behave the way they were set up in the app.
The Ecovacs DEEBOT OZMO T8 is a robot vacuum that also mops in the same run. It uses a laser to map your rooms and sensors to steer around things on the floor. It suits people with a mix of hard floors and rugs who want both jobs done without pushing a machine around.

What the specs mean
Up to 3 hours on one charge is enough for a large home in one go, and if the battery runs low it goes back to charge and then finishes the job. The laser map lets you choose which rooms to clean and keeps it from cleaning the same spot over and over. The 3D sensor helps it go around shoes and cables instead of bumping into them. It can climb over door sills up to 20 mm high.

Pick up to three. You get a page with just those,
side by side, on the subjects owners raised.
Once it is on a schedule, the T8 becomes background housekeeping. Owners run it daily in the busiest rooms and less often elsewhere, and the thing they keep mentioning is how much loose pet hair it pulls out of rooms that looked clean. Light mopping is where opinion divides: a majority find it leaves hard floors cleaner and shinier between proper mops, while others say it cannot handle heavier grime and is underwhelming compared with roller-mop designs. Suction and battery draw similarly mixed views, with one owner finishing a large apartment on medium power with plenty of charge left and others wanting more.
Reliability & repairs
Day to day, the vacuuming and pickup keep working; that is the part owners rarely complain about. Hair tangling around the brush is a recurring chore for more owners than not, and carpet coverage is a weak spot that some owners cite as a reason to look at rivals with wider wheels. When something goes wrong, customer support is itself a concern, with slow returns and replacements mentioned more often than good service.
Long-term accounts are thin. Owners who spoke to reliability outright leaned clearly negative, but there are few of them relative to the total, and the detail behind those reports is sparse, so we cannot say what tends to fail or when. Treat the hardware verdict as open.

Counted from the owners who raised each subject, not from everyone. A subject is judged once at least 4 owners raise it.
79 more subjects came up from fewer than 4 owners each, which is not enough for a fair reading. To see how it stacks up, compare it with another machine.

Two questions: how long you have had it, and anything you would
like to say about it. Then we ask again as it ages. This helps our

Still good used? What a used buyer should know, from owners a year or more in
Among the 9 owner accounts here that gave a duration, 1 described a failure. Parts named most: wheel.
Before you buy one used, ask the seller: how old it is, whether it was ever repaired and by whom, and whether any of the parts above have been replaced. Ask to see it run. A receipt tells you the warranty start date; most makers honour the term only for the first owner.
