Dreame x60

Owners keep it for daily pet-hair pickup and hard-floor mopping across a whole house, and most who weigh it up overall are pleased, while accepting an obstacle-avoidance system that divides them.

What keeps coming up

Taken as a whole, owners come away satisfied: several call it the best robot they have personally used, and one long-term owner says there are no major complaints beyond wanting better reach under the sofas.

What keeps coming up against it

Customer support is the clear complaint. Owners describe having to argue to get a failed unit repaired, and one was told by support that a promised Matter feature would not work even after installing the firmware update that advertised it.

Life with it

What keeps earning its place is the daily pass on shedding dogs and cats and the mopping that follows. Owners with heavy shedders say it turned daily manual vacuuming into a background task, and one uses a Dreame robot to replace all routine cleaning on two floors, keeping the upright for spots like behind furniture. Mopping is divided, though: some say it finally deals with muddy paw prints between weekly washes, others see streaks and small water spots left behind.

The thing owners adjust to most is obstacle avoidance, and they do not agree on it. One camp rates Dreame near the top of the field, especially compared with rivals they returned. The other describes the robot stopping in front of a couch claiming the clearance is too low, then driving under it anyway and getting stuck, or wanting to remap the moment detection fails. Object alerts that halt the job rather than letting you dismiss and carry on are a recurring irritation. Carpet is a clearer weak spot: owners report rugs misidentified, rooms skipped, and in one case the robot mopping an area rug. Several also wish the app allowed diagonal boundaries and freer map editing.

Reliability & repairs

Among owners who raised durability, most had trouble. Reports include a unit that arrived with a broken sensor and needed replacing, a mop motor that died at around six months, a base station swapped under warranty, and adhesive on the mop pad holders failing the first time the pads were changed. When things go wrong, the fix is usually a warranty replacement, and getting that replacement is where the customer support complaints come in. A few owners sidestep the risk by buying certified refurbished units from Dreame's own eBay store, which they say arrive essentially new and come with a two-year third-party warranty.

The long-term picture is thin. Only a small share of accounts speak to how the X60 holds up over months rather than weeks, and several of the failure stories come from owners running earlier Dreame models alongside it. Treat the reliability verdict as an early signal, not a settled record.

What owners praise

Nothing with a clear majority yet. Owners who raised these subjects were split, or too few to judge.

Nothing has a clear majority against it yet. Counted from the owners who raised each subject, not from everyone. A subject is judged once at least 4 owners raise it.
