What keeps coming up
Nearly everyone who raised value for money came down on its side: owners describe buying it on a hefty discount, skipping S8 features they did not need, and not regretting the cheaper choice after months of use.

Owners keep the Q Revo as a vacuum-and-mop that covers what they need at a discount to the S8 line, while staying divided on how well it mops and dodges clutter.

Hair tangling is a clear complaint: almost every owner who mentioned it found hair wrapping the brush rather than being picked up, and it has to be cleared by hand.
Pick up to three. You get a page with just those, side by side, on the subjects owners raised.
Once it settles into the routine, the part owners are happiest with is the dock. One who compared it against the S8 preferred the Q Revo dock outright, because the robot charges from the back and does not have to reverse in for a mop wash and turn round again, and the cable management is tidier. Suction and general cleaning performance draw more praise than complaint, and owners on mostly hard floors with a few rugs say it handles their layout well.
What people adjust to is the mopping and the clutter. Mopping is a divided theme: more owners are pleased than not, but a sizeable group finds the spinning pads thin, especially once wet, and some say the mop-lift makes less difference than expected. Obstacle avoidance leans the other way, with more owners frustrated than happy. The ones who are happy tend to say they pick up cords first and then see only a few issues a week. The app also comes up mostly as a complaint, and carpet performance is a weak point for most who raised it.
Accounts of how it holds up are evenly divided. On the good side, one owner reported no trouble cleaning the robot or the dock after more than three months, and another describes an early original model that simply kept working with only occasional issues. On the bad side, one unit arrived with an intermittent lidar fault and was returned, and another owner sent theirs back over the auto-empty function repeatedly clogging and the robot depositing dust on hardwood beside a hallway runner. Customer support is itself divided: one owner who reported the robot rolling over crumbs was told to repeat the same troubleshooting steps, and another called Roborock support poor given the price.
Be clear that this is thin. Only a small share of the accounts we read speak to reliability at all, and most cover the first few months rather than years. What owners do when something breaks is mostly return it inside the window rather than repair it. We cannot yet say how the Q Revo wears over the long run.
Nothing with a clear majority yet. Owners who raised these subjects were split, or too few to judge.
Nothing has a clear majority against it yet. Counted from the owners who raised each subject, not from everyone. A subject is judged once at least 4 owners raise it.
The same owner, asked again at each point. Fills in as owners answer.
